Salary range :basic 3800 + house allowance 2000 (company will provide)+ 600 transport allowance

As an Upholster you’ll be keeping our aircraft looking good from nose to tail by ensuring that all aircraft seats, cabin furnishings, lounge furniture and other upholstered items are kept in great condition. You’ll make sure all your work complies with strict aviation safety and quality standards.to give best seating experience to every who travelled on qatar airways
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of an Upholster may include:
Repairing and refurbishing aircraft seats and cabin interiors in a proper finishing
Removing damaged upholstery and replacing it with new materials and ensuring passengers comfort
Measuring, cutting, stitching, and fitting fabrics, leather, and other upholstery materials.to ensure measurement can reduce the wastage
Inspecting furniture and aircraft seating for defects, damage, or wear.
Operating sewing machines and upholstery equipment safely and efficiently with strong technical knowledge
Ensuring completed work complies with company quality standards and aviation regulations.
Performing preventive maintenance to lengthen the life of your cabin furnishings. Keeping accurate records of repairs and materials used. Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Working side by side with our maintenance teams to get projects done on time
Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for the role, you’ll need the following skills and qualifications:
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
Technical or vocational certification in upholstery or a related field an advantage.
Experience Requirements
Previous experience in upholstery, furniture repair, automotive upholstery, or similar. Experience using industrial sewing machines and upholstery tools. Experience working in maintenance environments is beneficial.
Technical Skills
Candidates should have knowledge of:
Upholstery techniques and repairs Various upholstery materials – leather, vinyl, fabric Pattern making, cutting, sewing and installing
Hand and power tools used in upholstery work. Workplace safety procedures and quality control standards.
Soft Skills
