Job Responsibilities
The Engineering and Maintenance Director will be responsible for leading the engineering and maintenance function across Doha Metro and Lusail Tram. Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing asset management strategies.
Establishing maintenance processes, plans, and performance standards.
Ensuring compliance with RKH Qitarat’s Safety Case and operational requirements.
Supporting the achievement of operational targets.
Leading senior engineering and maintenance teams.
Managing contractual and operational requirements.
Improving asset performance and reliability.
Driving strategic engineering and maintenance initiatives.
Ensuring safe, sustainable, and cost-effective operations.
Managing complex technical matters and supporting delivery teams.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates interested in this senior leadership opportunity should have:
At least 15 years of relevant professional experience in engineering, asset management, and maintenance.
Previous experience in senior engineering or maintenance leadership positions.
Board-level experience and strong strategic decision-making skills.
Proven ability to lead large or complex delivery teams.
Experience managing complex technical and operational requirements.
Strong knowledge of maintenance strategy, asset performance, and engineering standards.
The ability to drive continuous improvement and strategic initiatives.
